Job Description 

Front Desk Sales Associate

$17.00 to $20.00 per hour including an average of $4.00-6.00 per hour in tips 
Additional Bonus Opportunities of up to $500 per month based on Revenue Targets

Two Locations:

Lake Zurich
Buffalo Grove

About the Position
As a Front Desk Sales Associate at Scenthound, you will play a crucial role in driving sales, increasing average ticket size, and recommending add-on products or services to our customers. This position requires exceptional customer service skills, sales expertise, and a passion for promoting dog wellness.
 
Who We Are Looking For 
We are searching for a Rockstar Sales Associate who is a great relationship builder with Customers. They need to have an engaging personality where they can forge connections with our customers. A successful candidate is an independent problem solver, adaptable, detail-oriented, and a compassionate dog lover! We are looking for a HANDS-ON team member who can look at Data and understand how to make an impact. 
 
Our Critical Sales KPIs are Membership Sales, Membership Trial Conversion, Average Ticket Price, Product Sales, Rebook Ratio, etc.

·       Sales Experience: Previous experience in sales, particularly in a retail or membership-based environment, is highly desirable. This could include roles such as sales associate, membership sales representative, or similar positions where upselling and cross-selling are common practices.
 
·       Customer Service Expertise: Strong customer service skills are essential for this role. Candidates should have experience interacting with customers in a friendly, helpful, and professional manner. Experience in retail or restaurant settings where customer satisfaction is a priority would be beneficial.
 
·       Knowledge of Dog Wellness: While not necessarily a requirement, a background or interest in dog care, grooming, or wellness would be advantageous. This could include previous work experience in a pet-related industry, volunteering at animal shelters, or personal experience as a dog owner.
 
·       Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for interacting with customers, team members, and upper management. Experience in effectively communicating product information, promotions, and company policies is beneficial.
 
·       Problem-Solving Abilities: The ability to identify customer needs, address concerns, and recommend solutions is crucial for success in this role. Candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly on their feet.
 
·       Tech Savviness: Proficiency with computer systems, point-of-sale software, and other technology platforms is important for managing customer transactions, scheduling appointments, and accessing information about products and services.
 
Tasks
·       Manage Leads through CRM and schedule appointments.
·       Drive membership sales in-store and on the phone through health and wellness education.
·       Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products or add-on services during each visit.
·       Assist in maintaining a knowledgeable team that prioritizes dog wellness and safety.
·       Collaborate with management to ensure efficient scheduling and adherence to KPIs.
·       Provide leadership and mentorship to other team members.
·       Uphold quality standards through hands-on participation and training.
·       Communicate effectively with both customers and upper management.
·       Assist in resolving customer concerns and ensuring client satisfaction.
·       Ensure the safety of dogs and team members at all times.
·       Adhere to Scenthound sanitary and cleaning practices.
 
Skills and Abilities
 
·       Strong sales and customer service experience, preferably in a membership-based business.
·       Ability to effectively communicate with team members and customers.
·       Leadership and coaching skills to support team development.

·       Proficiency in computer/technology systems.
