Pay:  $16.00/hour + $4.00–$6.00/hour in tips
Total Average Compensation: $20.00–$22.00/hour
Additional Bonuses: Up to $500/month based on sales and revenue targets
Position Type: Full-time (35–40 hours/week)

About the Position
We're looking for a high-energy, sales-driven Front Desk Associate who thrives in a fast-paced, dog-loving environment. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers, responsible for selling memberships, managing leads, and delivering exceptional service. You'll help pet parents understand the value of consistent grooming and wellness, converting first-time visitors into lifelong members.

The ideal background for the Membership Sales & Front Desk Associate role at Scenthound would include a combination of experience and skills that align with the responsibilities and requirements of the position. 

Primary Responsibilities
  • Drive membership and service sales in-store and by phone through education and engagement.
  • Manage and convert leads using our CRM system.
  • Build lasting relationships with customers to drive repeat visits and referrals.
  • Educate pet parents about the importance of regular grooming and health maintenance.
  • Help maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for pets and their humans.
  • Collaborate with management on scheduling, promotions, and operational KPIs.
  • Mentor junior team members on best practices in sales and service.
  • Maintain accurate records, process payments, and manage bookings.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, grooming, and sanitation standards.
What You Bring to the Table
  • 1+ year experience in membership or subscription-based sales (dog grooming, fitness, spa, etc.)
  • Passion for dogs and pet wellness; ideally some experience in pet care or related industry
  • Confident communicator with strong listening and persuasion skills
  • Energetic, coachable, and goal-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable using POS, scheduling systems, and CRM tools
  • Team player who thrives in a hands-on, customer-focused environment
